Shape your Sound!
Composer
I have been putting musical ideas to paper since I was 17 years old. At the age of 18, I was fortunate enough to have my works signed by renowned publishers for wind orchestra. This made my compositions and arrangements known to a wider circle.
Conductor
Making a virtue of necessity: writing music has also increased the demand to rehearse and conduct it with orchestras. My training as a choral conductor also significantly shapes my work as an orchestral conductor—consequently, I place great value on larger musical contexts in my interpretations.
Educator
I pass on my practical knowledge at the Upper Austrian State Music School System in the subject of Wind Orchestra Ensemble Conducting. A holistic perspective is important to me, for example, by incorporating group dynamic processes. Furthermore, I have served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and as a teacher at the Linz Music Gymnasium.
Recording Director
For many years I have been active as a recording supervisor, specializing in the fields of choral and wind music and accompanying many productions from the planning stage to the recording session. On the one hand, it is important to create a focused atmosphere and, on the other hand, to motivate at the right moment.
